Artomobilia Weekend 2026… The Countdown Is On

Entrants, check your inbox. Everyone else, check the Friday lineup.

Welcome to the countdown to Artomobilia weekend. We're just days away, and the excitement is building.

First, a note for our entrants. You've received our load-in instructions by email, sent more than once to make sure they reach you. If you haven't seen yours, check your spam folder, and add enthusiast@artomobilia.org and john.leonard@artomobilia.org to your contacts so our messages land where they belong. Those instructions tell you when and where to arrive Saturday morning, and they matter, so don't head to the district without them.

Saturday's field is exceptional this year, and a few displays stand out. We're honored to host Lane Motor Museum of Nashville, home to the largest collection of European automobiles in America, bringing a selection of rare and wonderfully strange machines. Just north on Rangeline, the McKibben Collection and the Hoffman Collection each bring their own remarkable cars to the district. And fresh off Friday's competition, the Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge display returns to show the finest restoration work in the country up close. Together, they make this one of the deepest fields we've ever assembled.

But Artomobilia has never been special only for the cars. It's special for where it happens. The event unfolds across the Carmel Arts & Design District and Carmel Midtown, and we'd encourage you to take full advantage of it. Visit the galleries, browse the shops, and support the restaurants and merchants that make this district unlike anywhere else. We're fortunate to have such a beautiful canvas on which to showcase our entrants' cars, and we owe a real debt to the City of Carmel, whose support over nearly two decades has helped make Artomobilia the largest single-day event in the city. Come for the cars, and stay for everything around them.

Saturday is going to be another remarkable day in the Carmel Arts & Design District. But before we get there, don't overlook Wednesday, Thursday or Friday…

On Wednesday and Thursday, professional racing driver and engineer Sabré Cook, the first woman to compete in Porsche Carrera Cup North America, hosts the Sabre Cook Test Day Experience at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, a rare chance to spend time trackside before she stops by the Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge on Friday.

On Friday, tickets are still available for the Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge. Come enjoy an exceptional field of restored Porsches, lunch from Ruth's Chris, live music from Chris Trowbridge, and the beautiful and growing (literally) campus at Motor District. It's a genuinely great way to spend a Friday afternoon.

Then, as evening falls, the Veloce Hangar Party, presented by Gator Motorsport. This one is special: an extraordinary array of automobiles and aircraft under one roof, a musical experience from the BlueWater Kings, exceptional food from Ruth's Chris, and an open bar compliments of Beam Suntory. It's the kind of evening you don't forget, and the kind you can't get any other time of year. Miss it, and you'll be waiting until next August.

So, start your weekend early… Wednesday or Thursday on-track at IMS, Friday's on campus at Motor District then the Jet Access Center, and Saturday join us in the heart of Carmel.

We can't wait to see you for an amazing automotive weekend.
