Before the Weekend Gets Away From Us

Honoring the men and women of our armed forces whose sacrifice makes every freedom worth celebrating.

This is one of the best weekends in Indiana. The Greatest Spectacle in Racing is always a unique experience for the few hundred thousand people squeezed between Georgetown and 16th Street, gathered for something that does not happen anywhere else in the world. And for family and friends arriving for a long weekend with no particular agenda, it is hard to imagine a better place to be.

It is a hard weekend not to love.

For many in our automotive community who are veterans, military families, and proud patriots, this day carries something deeper than a long weekend. It is personal. And for all of us, it is worth pausing to remember why we celebrate this particular holiday in the first place.

We are a community built around passion, for cars, for craftsmanship, for the connections that form when like-minded people share the things they love. None of it would exist without the freedoms secured by those who gave everything to protect them. Every drive, every gathering, every moment spent doing what we love is possible because of their sacrifice.

As you enjoy the weekend and the people in it, we hope you take a moment to honor the brave men and women who made it possible, from our Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Coast Guard.

From all of us at Artomobilia, thank you for your service and your sacrifice.
