SHIFT | Cards, Curves & Company

Some events are about the destination. SHIFT is about everything in between.

On May 2, we launch the 2026 Artomobilia season with the SHIFT Road Rally, a full day built around some of the finest driving roads southern Indiana has to offer. The route is curated, not improvised. These are the roads that reward a willing driver and remind you why you bought the car in the first place.

Navigation is handled through a purpose-built mobile app that keeps drivers and passengers focused on the experience rather than a map. No fumbling for directions. No second-guessing the next turn. Just open road and good company.

We begin at the Silo Car Club & Conservancy, a terrific facility and longtime Artomobilia partner led by entrepreneur, collector and all-around good guy Mike Simmons and his staff, anchored by the capable Jeff Hostetter. Drivers and passengers gather at 8:30am for a Driver's Meeting and light breakfast before the 9am launch. From there, the route unwinds through some genuinely great Indiana countryside, with a stop or two along the way before arriving near Bloomington for lunch.

Lunch is hosted by Cole McCardel and the team at Motoring Wealth Advisors of Raymond James, with food from Adam Hoffman of Big Hoffa's Smokehouse. If you know Big Hoffa's, no further explanation is needed. If you don't, you're in for something special.

Along the way, participants collect poker cards at designated stops. The best hand at the end of the day wins. Prizes are real, and the bragging rights carry through the rest of the season.

After lunch, there's more road to enjoy before returning to Silo to settle in, share the day's stories, and make an afternoon of it in the Silo lounge. You'll see familiar faces and meet a few new ones. That tends to happen when you put the right group of people in the right cars on the right roads.

One note worth making: this is a rally, not a race. The roads are for enjoying, not setting records. If it's track time you're after, Chris Diasio at Putnam Park is the person to call. His facility is excellent for learning what your car can do in a controlled environment. SHIFT is something different. It's about the drive, the day, and the people you share it with.

Recurite your co-pilot and secure your spot at SHIFT. Spots are limited.
