The Month of May Starts Tonight with Tony Kanaan.

Tony Kanaan, live sim racing, and an exclusive gathering at Motor District. Tonight, 4 to 8pm. Entry is free.

If you have been waiting for the Month of May to officially begin, tonight is a pretty good place to start.

From 4 to 8pm, Millennium Sounds and Motor District are hosting an exclusive event at 1516 W. Tournament Trail in Westfield, and the guest of honor is someone who needs very little introduction. Tony Kanaan, 2013 Indianapolis 500 champion, 2004 IndyCar Series champion, 17-race winner, and one of the most genuinely enthusiastic car people you will ever spend an evening with, will be on hand for a meet and greet. Autographs, photos, and the kind of conversation that tends to happen when the right people end up in the same room.

What makes Tony's involvement here feel particularly fitting is the depth of his commitment to sim racing. He built his private simulator center in Motor District largely by hand, alongside a few friends, wiring every sim himself and filling the walls with a career's worth of racing history. His first go-kart trophy from when he was eight years old is there. Helmets from throughout his career. Every track where he had a major win represented on the wall.

See a big part of Tony’s life at Motor District, with live sim racing on elite-level equipment, the same kind of setup that working racing teams use between test sessions. If you have never climbed into a proper sim rig, this is a good opportunity to understand what the conversation is actually about.

Exclusive sim deals on premium parts will be available throughout the afternoon and evening.

Entry is free. Tonight, 4 to 8pm. Motor District, 1516 W. Tournament Trail, Unit A4, Westfield, IN 46074.
