Two Things to Know Before Zusammen

Register before Wednesday for lunch, and arrive at noon for the best pick of free merch.

Zusammen is nearly here, and there are two things worth knowing before Saturday, October 10th. One has a deadline, and the other is simply too good to keep quiet.

First, the deadline. We're closing the lunch option this Wednesday. After that, you can still register to display your car, but the Big Hoffa's Smokehouse lunch comes off the table. If you want to eat with us, and you do, Big Hoffa's is worth showing up for on its own, get your registration in before Wednesday closes the window. After that, it's display-only.

Second, the fun part. We're bringing all the Artomobilia merch from previous years to Zusammen, and it's free. Hats, shirts, whatever we've got from seasons past, available to anyone who wants to pick something up. No charge, no catch. Consider it a thank-you to the community that has made this season what it was.

Here's the one piece of strategy: show up at noon for the best selection. Like anything free and good, the best pieces go first, and once they're gone, they're gone. The early arrivals will have the full spread to dig through, so if there's a particular year or design you've had your eye on, don't wander in at 1:45.

Put those together and Saturday looks pretty good. German machinery across the Motor District campus, lunch from Big Hoffa's if you beat Wednesday's deadline, free merch for the taking, live music, and garage tours. It's a relaxed way to close the driving season among people who love these cars.

And the timing couldn't be better. The forecast is about as nice as it gets, sunny and in the mid-70s, exactly the kind of day you'd want to spend outside with great cars.

So get registered before Wednesday if you want lunch, and get there at noon if you want first pick of the merch.
