Scott Holley and his team return to Artomobilia showcasing an all-new American Icon.

Scott Holley and his team were one of the highlights of All-Americana, rolling out an array of Superformance legends that drew a crowd all afternoon. And, we're glad to have them back at Artomobilia for the 4th consecutive year, and to have Scott back for his… ahem… 19th year.

Holley Motorsports handles sales and service for Superformance and Hi-Tech Legends vehicles, officially licensed continuation cars that recreate the machines that defined an era of American road racing. GT40s. FIA Cobras. Shelby continuations. These aren't approximations. They're built under license, to a standard that honors what the originals were.

What's coming next is more interesting still. Holley Motorsports is announcing a new set of vehicles that changes the equation for heritage-style cars. The idea is straightforward and difficult to execute: keep everything that made the original shapes worth loving, then build a genuinely modern car underneath. Modern drivetrain. Modern running gear. A level of quality and luxury the originals could never have delivered, because the technology to deliver it didn't exist.

The result is a driving experience that feels authentic rather than compromised. You get the car you remember, without the ownership experience you'd prefer to forget.

That's a harder trick than it appears. Reworking an icon invites comparison to the icon, and most attempts lose that comparison. The ones that succeed do so by respecting what came before rather than improving on it for its own sake.

We're looking forward to seeing what Holley Motorsports brings to the streets of the Arts & Design District this year, both the Superformance and Hi-Tech Legends cars we know and whatever they're ready to reveal.
