A Stroll Down Memory Lane, and a Look Ahead

As we plan our 20th anniversary in 2027, we look back at the journey.

With the 2026 season wrapped, our attention turns to something we've been looking forward to for a long time: our 20th anniversary, coming in August 2027.

Twenty years is a milestone worth pausing on, and before we start planning the celebration, we wanted to look back. Fortunately, our partners at Carmel Monthly have been documenting this journey alongside us. Since 2014, they've written about nearly every corner of what makes Artomobilia what it is, from the wonderfully strange machines of Lane Motor Museum to profiles of our most noteworthy collectors to some of the extraordinary cars we've featured over the years.

It's a genuine archive of the event's history, and it's all in one place. We'd encourage you to visit the Carmel Monthly website and take a stroll down memory lane with us. Whether you've been coming since the early days or you joined us more recently, there's something rewarding about seeing how far this has come, forty cars in 2008 to hundreds of entrants and tens of thousands of guests today.

That history is exactly what we'll be celebrating next year. In August 2027, we return to the Carmel Arts & Design District and Carmel Midtown to mark two decades of collectors, enthusiasts, and the partners who support them. We have ideas we're genuinely excited about, and we'll share more as they take shape.
