All-Americana Is Just Around the Corner
Celebrate the country's 250th, then bring your American icon out to play. This year, a special display of original and reimagined 1960s Shelby GT500s.
Once you have marked our nation's 250th birthday, point the car toward Westfield. All-Americana is nearly here, and it is shaping up to be a fine way to spend the day.
The premise is an easy one. Bring your American automotive icon, or come without one, and enjoy an afternoon built around the cars and the people who love them. Either way, there is a place for you on the field.
The setting helps. Our hosts at Motor District will open their private campus for exceptional garage tours, a rare look at some of the most aspirational collector spaces around. Lunch comes from Adam Hoffman and his team at Big Hoffa's Smokehouse, which is reason enough to show up hungry. And Chris Trowbridge & Company will keep the music going throughout the afternoon.
This year we are adding something special: a display of original and reimagined 1960s Shelby GT500s. Few cars carry American heritage the way the GT500 does. Carroll Shelby dropped a 428 V8 into the Mustang and built a racecar for the street, and the first-generation cars from 1967 through 1969 remain among the most sought-after pieces of American performance history.
Alongside the originals, Holley Motorsports will showcase the HiTech Legends reimagined GT500. Built brand new from the ground up and licensed by Carroll Shelby Licensing, it pairs the unmistakable 1967 silhouette with a modern independent suspension, contemporary brakes, and a current Ford V8. Classic appearance, modern performance, the best of both eras side by side.
It is a relaxed, celebratory kind of day, the sort that suits both a serious collection and a casual drive over. We would be glad to have you. Make your plans now, and we will see you for All-Americana.
