Your Convertible Belongs in the CarmelFest Parade. Here Is How to Make It Happen. Artomobilia has partnered with the CarmelFest organizing committee again this year to find great cars for Indiana's largest Independence Day celebration.

If you own a convertible and have never driven it in front of 30,000 people, July 4th might be the day to change that.

Artomobilia has partnered with the CarmelFest organizing committee again this year to help find owners of exceptional convertibles and pickup trucks who would like to be part of the CarmelFest Parade. CarmelFest is Indiana's largest Independence Day celebration, held annually in Carmel, and the parade is one of its most beloved traditions. This year's parade steps off on July 4th at 10:30am, and the crowd it draws is genuinely worth showing up for. motoringwealth

Here is how it works. Convertibles are used to carry celebrities and VIPs along the parade route, with guests seated on the back of the car with their legs in the rear seat area, elevated and visible to the crowd. It is a classic parade format, and it requires cars that can support someone seated that way comfortably and safely. If your convertible fits that description, it belongs in this parade.

A handful of pickup trucks are also needed to transport mascots along the route. If you have a truck with some personality, this is a great way to put it to work in front of a crowd that will appreciate it.

Volunteers who bring their vehicles are invited to a free breakfast before the parade and get to spend time with the celebrities and VIPs they will be carrying. It is a genuinely fun morning, and the kind of experience that does not come around often.
